We would have gladly given this place 5 stars but our wait tonight has been extremely long. From what we understand they are short staffed tonight. However, our waitress, Wendy has been so kind and attentive. The host, Linda has been especially entertaining and we have thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and music. We’ve been waiting a while now but our glass has never been empty and Wendy made us an extra batch of bread for our trouble. I can’t wait to taste the pizza as we have seen and heard how wonderful they are. We will definitely give this place another try when they are staffed adequately.
We had dinner last evening at Carmine’s. The food is amazing! The staff was friendly and treated us like we guests in their home. We have the prosciutto wrapped bacon appetizer. Do yourself a favor and try these. The linguini with white wine sauce was delicious. The fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp was equally good. In all a great dining experience!
My mother has been waiting for this place to open for months. She is very proud to tell her friends that Carmine’s Restaurant was started by two women who seem to have become very well known by conversation. My mother and my aunt opened an Italian Cuisine in Michigan in their younger days so she could not wait to try it. Let’s just say she was in AWE of this establishment. The attention to detail from the music selection playing through the restaurant even out to the porches down to the Italian flags garnishing a few dishes. This place ROCKS. It is a little warm in the bar area but we understood that was due to their open kitchen. It was so cool to watch the chef (one of the owners) prepare the meals with what looked like such passion. We will surely be back, hopefully next time for a date night. Nothing like this place around here folks.
We finished dinner at Carmine’s about ten minutes ago. We drove 65 miles, one way, to eat there and it was worth every mile!
We arrived about 30 minutes before it opened. Prior to being seated, our waitress introduced herself and recommended the Caprese appetizer. The homemade fresh mozzarella alone was worth the trip!
My wife’s Lasagna was incredible and my Chicken Parmesan was very good, too. Wendy was an excellent, attentive server. We will definitely eat there again. You just can’t do better than authentic.
Carmine’s has the best atmosphere and amazing staff. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. The food was so authentic and delicious. From the garlic knots to dessert and every amazing thing in between! My wife and I have already decided we will be back!!! Perfect date night ❤️
