Altamaha Steak and Seafood

Stuffed red snapper was delicious. Desserts are exceptional! Great sweet tea. We got there late, about 8:40, so and the place was packed, so before we got our meal they started running out of things like baked potatoes, cheese grits, and later sweet tea, but the waitress was extremely attentive and apologetic even though it was no fault of hers. They definitely made up for it in other unexpected ways that most restaurants would never do. We will definitely be back, but will try to make it a little earlier. Seafood dip appetizer was exceptionally good. Those chips!!!❤

Husband took me to get a bite to eat. Service was a five, location is very accessible and handicap friendly, plenty of parking and decor is wonderfully appropriate! For me personally, the food was a little salty but my husband was very happy with his. Entree portions were generous but bigger sides could have brought more balance. Onion ring appetizer is enough for four people!! And oh so good! 4.5 stars

In response to Michael's review and disappointment of no wine, waitress did say there was a BYOB policy in place and an alcohol license has been applied for...so check on result and come back when you can!

Was looking for some dinner on the drive to Vidalia. Surely wasn’t a disappointment when it came to the food. Good steak quality and grilled to perfection.
Only disappointment was that they don’t serve any alcohol; not even a glass of wine to go with the steak.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. The host were very polite and attentive. I missed the buffet but I will go back at a later date to try it out. The strawberry cake is delicious! Just a heads up thow be prepared to spend some money. It cost me over $80 for two people. With this said don't forget one thing you get what you pay for.

My family think I'm a picky eater, but I have to say the food is spectacular, everything was cooked perfectly. The shrimp and grits(awesome) gator tails, fried to perfect, was cooked in fresh cooking oil, (I can tell) buffalo shrimp marvelous. Whomever the cooks are they did an awesome job
