Blauer Wolf Brewery

Thankful for the resiliency of one of our fave Helen restaurants! Coming out on the other side of COVID-19, it is better than ever!! Their own brews, a cream ale(sooo smooth) and a coffee stout started us off along with Wolf Bites sirloin bites cooked to medium-rare perfection! Accompanied by grilled reindeer and German sausage and finished off with halibut chowder in a bowl big enough to do a legal flip turn!!! Despite having no room left, we managed to pound a Sex On A Snowman that is a big fave of mine!! If you are staying at our place than it is right across the street and if you are just making a trip to Helen in the near future please put this on your list of places to eat because it is wonderful… And then some!

Great food and outstanding service. Though specializing in fresh seafood, they also have an excellent burger. My burger was cooked perfectly, the beer-batter fries were crispy with no greasy taste whatever and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely return!

We had the scallops and bacon as an appetizer and it was excellent! Then for the main course we had the Fruit of the Sea with Salmon and shrimp. The salmon was wild caught and rock shrimp. It was made on a bed of pasta with onions, bell peppers, and mushroom with a cream sauce. Great flavor and perfect portions. The bread was fresh and warm not to mention delicious. Great service and he it been a little warmer we would have sat outside with the live entertainment! It’s a little on the pricey side but that’s because everything is flown in fresh.

Beer great. Burgers great. Migrated to the edge of Helen to avoid long waits but this is a good place to watch the game on the upstairs deck. This place will also experience crowds once the word gets out. Should probably incorporate a couple more TVs for multiple games.

What a wonderful place to eat and listen to music!!! You know you have found the perfect place to eat when you can talk with the owner as if you have known him forever.
The waiter happened to be the builder. What a wonderful personable man!!
The food was absolutely wonderful, well thought out and the presentation was perfectly beautiful.
We were absolutely surprised to see that they had live music upstairs which was outside on the Bavarian atmosphere deck. The music was excellent.
The town of Helen is enchanting but if you want to get away from the town which is very touristy check it this wonderful place. We loved everything about it!!!!

Great spot with Halibut and more seafood not typically found in Georgia. They have it flown in from their local Alaska connections, can’t wait to try some brews!

The building is top notch as well, couldn’t say anymore positive things about this place.
