“Just down the road from all the busy, hour-long-wait breakfast spots is this cozy, new-age nook. Incredibly welcoming staff and amazing food. The vibe is very chill, complete with Enya soundtrack. The tea was top notch. I had the Salted Caramel pancakes and my s/o had the butchers omelette. We both wanted to lick our plates. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Helen.”

“I come here all the time and as a whole I really like it. It’s clean, and a few of the employees are really polite and on top of their game. So why the 3 star review? They seem to have a hard time with filling drinks to their appropriate size. If I order a large I get a medium’s worth of drink in the cup, if I order a medium, I get a small drink in a medium cup, etc. this is a reoccurring problem as well. I’d say it happens now 75% of the time. Please fix this!”

“Cannot speak on the cafe part of this establishment but the bakery was good! We had the German chocolate torte, cream puffs, and apple strudel. All were very good! Friendly and helpful staff as well. They have their own parking in back of establishment for customers, very convenient.”

“Our waitress was fantastic. She checked on us consistently and we could tell that she cares about her job. Two other employees stood behind our table for about 10 minutes loudly complaining and cursing about another employee. I ordered the Camel Rider which was actually pretty good. No complaints there. My wife ordered the Pork Chop and Sauerkraut plate. She enjoyed the chops, but the kraut was very overpowering. Nice river view on a hot, humid day. I would probably give it another try in the future.”
