Oakwood Cafe

The Oakwood is one of those places that defines a city. 4 generations of my family have gathered there for coffee and to keep up with the latest goings on. Even if you're not from Dalton it needs to be on your list if you here for work or just passing through. Pancakes to die for and have the Godzilla!!!

Do not miss the sweet potato pancakes with pecans! The coffee is excellent as well. A really good breakfast place.

Great place for meat and vegetables dinners. If your southern, definitely like your mom used to cook. If your not southern, then you need to just experience good food for once in your life.

Until tonight It had been a while since I've had a meal at the Oakwood and just as always I enjoyed it.
I had the pot roast dinner with corn casserole and green beans. It was delicious. The roast was tender and juicy. The corn casserole, was tasty. After enquiring about the desserts, the waitress,who was very attentive, recommended the banana pudding which she made herself that day. It was phenomenal. The whole night was a fantastic experience, no complaints at all from me. Thank you Oakwood!

This place is awesome! Our waitress Julia did a great job taking care of us. The food was delicious and if you can get by there try their peach cobbler with icecream. This was our first time in but definitely not our last!
