As always, the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The facility was nice and clean. The shelves were well stocked as were the meat and deli cases. What else good can I say? The Butcher's Market is my go to for fresh meat.
Must say that for a first time the food here was really good and the place was pretty quiet. we got here during a happy hour when no one was there for that was fine sometimes peace is good. Anyways the service was good the food was good and the music playing was good even though we didn't get the opportunity to catch the live band but I think this place is a good stop in for the casual flare. I otdered the fried chicken which was very tasty and girlfriend ordered the plain burger which she says was very good and juicy.. i reccomend this place for all you outings.
Very clean, prompt service, accurate drink orders, friendly staff, and occasionally live music. On my most recent visit I was there for a business meeting and we all had the same food. We had pork BBQ, baked beans, and cole slaw. Never have I been let down by the qualiry of the food and this was no different. I have always been and will probably always be impressed with this establishment. If i could rate higher than 5 stars I would.
Carolina Caviar burger - excellent! Brisket Mac&Q was also fantastic! Nice atmosphere. Great service too.
What I like the most about the Butcher's Market is the convenience of buying 20 and 50 lbs of meat in preset packages. For 20 lbs of assorted meat, what I purchased today, is $68. The 50-lb box goes for $129. The cuts of meat tend to look fresh and taste better than cuts from other markets. They claim it's organic and I'm inclined to believe it because of the taste. My grandfather owned a farm and their meat taste just as fresh as his.
To be honest, the feel walking into the Butcher's Market feels like entering an Alt-Right establishment. I have no problem with that provided my meat is clean and fresh and they're not rude.
In terms of other items in the store and the store itself...a few things are overpriced but it's a small market, not a supermarket. The selection of meat is small but they do off different cuts. Those two aren't things I score in this review. The store is small but organized. If you read my reviews you know by now that clean, fresh, organized, and flavor are important to me.
This trip something changed for me. I was enthusiastic about writing a review because the feel aside I appreciate they afford the community with organic meat. I noticed the ground chuck had some brown exposed and mentioned it to the young man so he can change it. He said "they're all like that." I asked him again and he agreed. He was polite. However, he was right. While the top and bottom layers of the ground meat look red and beautiful. The middle doesn't look that fresh.
Other than that...I have zero complaint about the quality of meat I buy there. I hope they increase the choice of meat to include seafood and other types of meat Other than pork, chicken, and beef in their assorted packages. I'll re-evaluate it after a couple of visits.
I highly recommend you give them a visit. Their meat generally look and taste delicious.
