Had breakfast and it was great! Cat head buscuit, meaning very big! Tender delicious fried pork tenderloins. Eggs fried like I asked... service was great! I'm definitely going back!
It is a small mom and pop restaurant. If you like country cooking with southern hospitality, this is the place for you. The breakfast and lunch great. You have to get there early because the lunch specials usually runs out quick.
Outstanding country meal at very reasonable price. Very fast friendly service.
A little disappointing. Limited variety stressing a 1-meat,2 vegetable lunch special for $8.00. I had some excellent fried chicken, but my son’s chicken was a small portion and rather dry and overcooked. Vegetable were southern good. My wife had just vegetables and was charged the lunch special price. Service was a little slow and not very inviting. No one was wearing masks including the people serving. Open Wednesday through Sunday until about 2pm. To get above a three star, I would have to desire coming back.
Stopped in for lunch on a road trip to North Georgia and couldn't have made a better choice. Had the country fried steak with gravy, with mashed potatoes and gravy and pinto beans, with corn bread and a sweet tea and it was probably the best lunch I have had in a long time. This is probably the best "home cooking" restaurant that I have ever ate at.
