By the time we left (8:30) the place was about half empty. ????: The desserts were great! Highly recommend the Japanese Cheesecake. The perfect mixture of fluffy and creamy. ????: Weird menu design note - the social media icons and quote on the bottom of page 3 of the menu and the dessert menu were transformed in a way that the icons lost their circular identity. Strange thing not to catch for whoever printed the menus.”

“Newly opened in Pearlridge Center’s Nehu Market Food Court at Wai Makai, this food stall brings iconic Kapahulu’s Rainbow Drive-In famous plate lunches to the Leeward side. This stall is easily accessible by its close proximity to the Monorail station. For now, they’re still working out service kinks as many of the workers are new but the food tastes are consistent with the original site but portions seem a bit smaller.”

“The serving portions for a regular size plate is huge! Not that I'm complaining. The food quality is what you'd expect from Yummy. Again, not a bad thing. The kalbi was a little tough but tasty nonetheless. Everything is reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient. I got my food in about 5 minutes despite it being a little busy. The one missing star is because of the tough kalbi but I'm nitpicking here.”

“Loved our visit to Five Guys! We enjoyed some complimentary peanuts while we were waiting for our order. I ordered the small cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard & cooked onions which was nicely cooked. Loved the fries too! They have a self-serve Sosa machine with lots of drink options. The Five Guys restaurant is located at the Pearlridge Center, about a 25 minute drive from Waikiki.”

“Good place to pick up a selection of tasty bread. The amount of allowed customers are limited to 6 people. It was a bit difficult to choose at the time because a lot of good selections were sold out and they had to bake more. Also, once you decide on a particular bread/pastry you have to lift the hard plastic shield and then hold it up while holding a tray in one hand and tongs in the other.”

“I love this place!! We come here every time I’m in town, the Homewrecker is the monster burrito built to your desires and served with tortilla chips and they have four choices of hot sauce but the Hot is the best. The beverage machine has a lot of selections to choose from and you can get free refills. Definitely a five star from me and don’t forget to give your services some “gas” money (you’ll get it when you go there).”
