Denny's

It was our first time in Denny's on 1/1/2020 (no Denny's in Australia). Service was excellent - Lisa made us feel welcome! We went back for dessert 5 days later, the best pancake we had ever had, Lisa had made them during the day. We accidentally left Hawaii postcards behind afterwards, Lisa came out looking for us in the streets knowing we were going home the next day... God's richest blessings to her, her family and that Denny's restaurant. Stay safe, we shall meet again.

Probably the best Denny's experience you will have. The staff here are on. the. ball!! They do everything they can to efficiently get new people coming in seated, every time we went here our food arrived extremely fast after ordering, people will consistently check on you and promptly bring you what you need, and most importantly, the staff are super friendly which makes the experience (and their tips) that much better. We recognized most of the staff from the previous year we were in Hawaii as well which shows they know how to retain employees!

26Jul19. After the fireworks display, I decided to stop in. The sitter tried to seat people in a timely fashion, but it became confusing to the customers. I ordered the country fried steak. I ordered the strawberry nuggets and cream for dipping as an appetizer. The appetizer and meal arrived at the same time. All in all, the meal was delicious.

So, this restaurant is consistent. I had the grand slam; however, there are no grits after 2pm. I was able to sub hashbrowns for tice! Husband ordered steak-- not so good, but well done. Server was awesome!

First Denny's experience and I gotta say I'm a fan!
Pros:
- really yummy food.
- easy to alter menu items.
- friendly staff and short wait time to get a table.
- friendly environment.
Cons:
- got got a couple of times with additional items, if they offer you anything don't assume it's free!
- pretty loud.
