Kailua Town Pub and Grill

Australian here so a decently priced meal was well appreciated! Walked in just as Super Bowl 2020 was wrapping up so totally confused for about two minutes.
Great meals and probably the best onion rings I’ve ever had. ... delicious cocktails too! May probably my drop in again before we head home!

A nice attempt at a pub in Kailua, I would definitely say it's more sports bar than pub though. Decor screams pub, but the open seating a number of TVs all loudly displaying a sporting events says sports bar

Pros: the servers are what make this place five stars. Without them it would be three.
The only difficulty is getting their attention tothe fact that you would like to sit down for food instead of just enjoying the game and a beer or two.
The food is a pretty standard Fusion of UK, and general bar food. I would strongly recommend the Ruben with a side of French dip

It was good. We only tried two sorts so not info to actually judge the place. The wings were awesome, but the calamari was just okay. The Calamari was not fried correctly and it all stuck together. We would have preferred the calamari proportion to be switch with the wing proportion, not enough wings. Service was great and be selection was good too

This used to be my go-to place any time of day for good food great service and easy to live with prices. Stopped in recently after being gone for a couple of months and still pound great service and good food. The bar side is super busy and apparently is a major gathering place hidden from view since there are no windows. The restaurant stays busy but they always seem to find you a seat.
