Taqueria El Gallo Rosa

Some of the food here is out of this world amazing. When I first found this place I went every day for a week. Some other items are average. I would’ve given it five stars but this place is expensive!

Took the the drive from Aiea to Kailua to try this place based on a recommendation from a friend. I never mind driving some where for good food either , now your asking was it worth the drive? Yes for the most part it was. The menu is very limited, they only have a small snack section with chips and salsa and some other stuff which really nothing stands out as a have to have. The taco menu with street style tacos starting at 3.60 to 4.80 each, and the quesadilla menu with a small variety of options there. The tacos were all full of flavor and tasty. The quesadilla was different, never had one full of beans before which was a turn off. Just had to scrap them out and power through it and it was fine. Overall keeping the menu small and simple is a great plan but this menu is just a bit too limited to get me to hop in the car and drive there for the food. If I'm in the area I will definitely eat there and I will definitely recommend them to others.

Highly recommend the margarita, corn ribs, vegan tacos and more! Everything is delicious!

Delicious tacos. The tortillas they used felt homemade, and everything they made tasted extremely fresh.

The food was fresh and the service was quick. Very clean. I'd go again.
