The Shack Kailua

I visited a good friend that lived a block away from The Shack so naturally that week I frequented. Shaunny is great, I had such a good time getting to know her. You're the sweetest!!

Decent, if not mediocre fare at this nice casual location which always somehow seems to disappoint. 10 chicken wings is almost $22, that's more than Popeyes full size chicken pieces. And the spicy chicken sandwich has the smallest chicken cutlet it's all bread and lettuce. Waitress forgot to offer choice of fries or salad and automatically served fries. All in all it was just okay. I might go back and give it another try, the burgers sounded amazing.

Great local spot for great local food and great local atmosphere. It's conveniently located as we stopped here on the way to Kailua beach. The kalbi plate is yummy and if you order a salad, trust me, it's huge and can serve more than 4 people. One note though, it doesn't open until 11am. If you're early you can wait across the street and have a cup of coffee.

Mozzarella sticks were great, burgers were decent. Fast service, fair prices.

This is a casual place. The prices were just right. We decided to give it a try since we had a long day at the beach. We will definately come here again. Server was friendly and fast. Plates are big, we took leftovers home.
