(February 15, 2020, 4:17 pm)Someone mentioned the water cup tasted funny, I noticed that as well as the miso soup bowl having a metallic smell and taste. The pork cutlet in the combination was like overdone toast. The other foods were good, but most annoying was the female server addressing all the women customers as "Aunty".

(November 10, 2019, 3:13 am)Whenever I have a craving for good Japanese meal, Kenko Ya is the first place I have in mind. I had the lobster combination, which included ribeye steak...costly. but worth it! Excellent service too.

(April 18, 2019, 6:30 am)Delicious Japanese food. Teishoku and sushi are good. Service is quick. Fridays can be busy but small parties (under 4) still get seated pretty quick.

(September 25, 2017, 5:11 am)Best Japanese restaurant in Kaneohe. The food is always delicious. The tempura, sashimi, butterfish, Tonkatsu and not to mention their sushi!
