Customer Service was poor. The reception (was not pleasant), just a blah stare from the young girl and waited for us to order. No welcome and no Hello. She seemed uninterested in her work and maybe their food. The food was good. The mungo soup was tasty. The Pork in the Sinigang was too bony. I think a nice smile, a hello and what would you like would lead you to believe that the food is worthy of Filipino attitude. This is OK food. It would gain another star just for a good reception and a little bit of attention.

POOR customer service. Short Filipina lady needs lesson in Customer Relations. When they opened a couple of years ago, the excitement was present. Young lady in counter was personable and warm. What happened?? This time around, we were so disappointed. And we came from mainland looking forward. This attitude is very stereotypical of customer service of most Filipinas in food service industry anywhere.

The best Filipino food on the east side. So stoked that an authentic Filipino restaurant had popped up so close to home. I had lechon kawali (so crispy and the tomato onion aneld patis sauce is bomb), sisgig (my favorite), adobo, empanada's, ube lumpia and dinuguan (also my favorite; meaty, not too fatty and get just the perfect amount of intestine that its not overpowering but rather just good mild flavor and delicious texture) and it was all really tasty and authentic. Going to come back tomorrow for sure.

Portion sizes are huge (local size) and prices are great. The 11.95 mixed plate will guarentee leave you feeling stuffed and happy with 2 big scoops (more like bowl full) of rice and two generous portions of the entre you choose.

The inside of the place is really clean and new. Its where Blazin' steaks was. They renovated the inside and it really does look good and welcoming.

My new favorite spot for plate lunch on the east side.

P.S. The ube lumpia is amazing. The inside is filled with very lightly sweetened ube and a sliver of jackfruit. The outside is crispy, buttery and sweet to make perfect desert or snacl.

If you want authentic, great tasting Ilokano food in Oahu, this is the definite place. Full stop. My family ate here from Lanikai Beach and we were surprised that they had goat Pinapaitan, Dinakdakan, Pinakbet and more. The dishes were cooked respectfully and not just thrown together like fast food. It was just like eating back home. The owner Al came out to greet us and told us they were planning to expand their kitchen. We can’t wait to come back here. Btw their Ube Lumpia was so yummy!
