Germaine's Luau

Germaine’s is a fantastic place for a night Luau. The atmosphere is very traditional Hawaiian, laid back, and enjoyable. The packages (we have done all three with several guests on island) doesn’t make the experience any better/worse. The food is fantastic and the show is amazing. We have brought guests to several different luaus on Oahu. Germaines is consistently the best.

It was an amazing experience for my first ever luau. The food was amazing! Everyone was so friendly, it felt like eating with family! I will go again when I come back to the island. So grateful for all the hard working staff.

This is my first luau so I dont have any other ones to compare it to. The luau was fun: you're mostly paying for the entertainment (hula dancing, bit of comedy, fire spinning, singing, cultural dances). The food was alright, though I've had better plate lunches at festivals and hole in the wall places. It is all you can eat so you can guarantee you're going to leave full if you eat your fill. Employees were friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the seating area is next to the ocean so you can watch the waves.

Dancers were great but the food was just too sweet. All the meats we're sweet, I couldn't eat it. Pork from the ground was not good at all, maybe because I saw how they handled it. The only thing I liked from the buffet was pineapple coleslaw which was great. The dance and music performance was very fun and overall very well organized. Five starts for activity, one star for food.
