    First day back since March. It was nice to enjoy the meal and drinks at the restaurant. Staff was very attentive, they are wearing gloves and masks. Social distancing was ensured by placing bar chairs 6 fit apart. Food was as good as before the closure. Kalapawai never fails to provide the best customer service and delicious food!

    Go To SPOT!!! Go HERE!.. what a wonderful little cafe.. Service was prompt friendly and knowledgeable. The food had the freshest ingredients and served hot with Aloha. So far the Seafood and Andouille with creole sauce and rice... amazing with ice cold Corona w/lime.... oh we are so going back! Aloha.

    Always liked this place because you leave satisfied, not uncomfortably stuffed. The staff is always happy to make sure you are happy. Today I mentioned the coffee was warm, not hot, and they immediately replaced it ..and with a smile. My friend and I were there for a while, strategizing a team project. We were not rushed. Very comfortable atmosphere!

    The food is made fresh and with care by the head chef, thus the wait time for food is a bit longer. The taro burger was good for a vegetarian burger; I loved the tomato jam. Brussels sprouts side was delicious too. A little pricey, but good food if you want a change of pace from Asian food. Our waitress was very sweet and patient with our 2 little kids!
