“First time at this style restaurant. Was a little overwhelmed at first, but once you figure out ordering procedures and find your taste, you'll be set. We were new, so we went with the all you can eat, just so we could find our calling. But turned out it also helped when I put too much goodies in my pot and had to start over. Broth was tasty and we'll seasoned, all the veggies and mushrooms were very fresh. The meats and seafood had great taste and good quality. Unfortunately we are just visiting the island, because I'm sure this place would be in our repertoire.”

“If you love Korean food and happen to be in Mililani during meal time I strongly encourage you to eat at Tasty BBQ located in the Mililani Town Center next to the B.J. Penn Ultimate Fighting gym. Tasty BBQ is out go-to place when we crave Korean Food and are in the area. We went there on a Friday night and boy, was it packed! We normally go there on "off" times because we get our food faster but despite the crowd our food was ready in about 10 to 15 minutes. My husband usually orders the kalbi. We have also tried their fish jun and meat jun and both are really good. I usually order the BBQ chicken but decided to get the BBQ beef instead. It was delicious and tender. I was pleasantly surprise at how tender the meat was because normally BBQ meat tends to be tough and stringy. I think the soft texture is due to how thin they slice their meat. We ordered the regular plate instead of the mini and both took our plates home for lunch the next day. I had enough meat left to share some with my husband. If you ask for a water cup you can serve yourself from the cold water available in a big dispenser jug. The water is really good! You get 4 choices of sides when you order a regular plate plus 2 large scoops of rice. See the photos I posted for the menu, sides, our food, and also the crowd. Side note about payment. Tasty BBQ only takes cash so make sure you bring enough with you before you order.”

“We went into the restaurant to order but service was so slow. There was only one person working the front register and it took a long time to get our order. I did enjoy their chicken sandwich and the tables were clean and they had 2 big screen TVs running. I think one more person at the front register would be great. The drive through lane was very busy and caused a traffic issue in the parking lot.”

“One of the first things you’ll notice is a signed Diners Drive-Ins and Dives poster on the wall, with a matching signature framed in the middle of the menu board. Once you try the food, this recognition makes sense. Service is very friendly and helpful. Food is served hot and it’s delicious. “Medium priced good Vietnamese Food, okay Japanese Tempura. Batter of Tempura was crisp but very heavy/flat and a bit sweet, not airy and light as I prefer. Dipping sauce way too sweet, not the traditional salty dashi. Vietnamese Noodle Bowl with Lemongrass Chicken and Spring Rolls was tasty and done well. Chocolate Tapioca was a bit too sweet and strong on coconut milk flavor. Will we back to try their Pho next time and hopefully raise my rating.”

The waitresses here are so friendly and always give great recommendations when you're stuck on what to get because everything here is good! :) Make sure to get a Key Lime Tart to go because this place makes the best desserts! Their bread pudding a la mode is to die for! Have yet to try the chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting... but I definitely will. Everything on the menu is tasty.”
