Not picking up the phone keeps it from excellence. If you order at the door expect a wait. The food is superb.
You must try this place at least once! I promise you'll go back, maybe again and again. Their food is amazing! It's a small eatery with a big appetite. Usually, there is a few minute wait and they can't accommodate groups greater than six, but if you can deal with that, you'll be more than satisfied. Psst, try the stuffed French toast, you can thank me later.
This meal looks good but honestly the flavors we really lacking. The cook was quite sparing on the spices. You can taste salt and that's about it. I give respect for the corn beef hash which was quite delicious but the eggs Benedict were mainly good to look at.
Here are some things you should know if you want to try this place
First, parking is rough. There is a lady in the back parking lot that will move a cone for you but good luck finding much else.
Second, there will be a wait list where you and your party of 6 or less will sign up and wait to be called. You might have to split your group if you want to sit.
Three, You have an hour to enjoy your meal which shouldn't be a problem but the air conditioning is only fans and open windows but that shouldn't be a problem if you have gone native.
Last, expect to pay more than $10 a dish but the French toast looked like it might be the best thing they offer.
All in all, there was nothing strictly wrong with the food but the hoops you have to jump through and the prices you have to pay make me not want to come back.
Came on a Sunday for a quick treat about their famous stuffed French toast. Which was very tasty and filling. Parking is a little busy. We came around 9 and was in line for a good 30 min before being seated. It's a small joint with a capacity of less than 20. Great work of food art
Friendly staff and great food. The pricing is moderate but you definitely receive a nice serving of food. The cafe is open air so there are flies that buzz around and the seating is limited, if you can deal with those two things, you will enjoy this quaint little place to eat.
