“This is a hole in wall restaurant. They have a kitchen sink with water hoses bolted to the side of a trailer for you to wash hands. Fountain drink refills are $0.50. Lunch and dinner plates are reasonably priced and the food portions are big enough to share. The dishes are rightly seasoned. There are very few dining choices in this area. Luckily this is good option.”

“Had a great experience with Waiahole Nursery. I was able to plan my destination wedding from CA without a planner because florists such as Katie at Waiahole were able to take a few inspiration pics that I had sent them via email and create the the most amazing floral arrangements, all within the very minimal budget I had given them. They were also open to adjusting the order on the fly when I asked them close to the big day for additional flowers. “I love going to Waikele Country Club Restaurant to eat and relax. The food selection is great! The staff is awesome and they work very hard to make your eating experience a good one! The prices are very good and reasonable. You would think it would be more expensive being at a golf course. The food tastes really great! No matter how busy they are, they strive to service you like you are their own family! Although all the staff is great I do have my personal favorite, and her name is Jolene. If you are out in Waikele, it is just up the road and you will not regret stopping to eat there.”

“Definitely a place to try if you are in Pearl City. They seem very authentic Japanese with even the workers who have a heavy Japanese accent. There are quite a few favorites that are starred in the menu. I must admit it’s pretty good and the portions are generous. I had the Ontama Beef Bowl with and extra egg. I’m not sure how to discount the egg except it’s soft on the outside with the yolk cooked and slightly firm on the inside. Based on the crowd inside, it’s frequented by Asians who travel from places like Japan as they were all speaking Japanese when I sat down.”

“Being in a place with good asian food we couldn't pass up the opportunity to drop in on a ramen shop. The tan tan ramen was outstanding with so much flavour in the broth and a great balance of ingredients. Also had shrimp and spam katsu which was a nice compliment to the ramen. The chicken fried rice my aficionado said was great, and she can be picky. The shrimp fried rice had a bounty of shrimp, not like some places where you get 3 or 4 token shrimp. The chicken katsu curry had great curry flavour with the chicken nice and crispy. Enjoyed it and was just as good reheated. The pork katsu curry was gobbled up and good reheated with all the same attributes of the chicken katsu curry. We happened upon here when happy hour meant each dish (except the ramen) came with a side of gyoza. Definitely recommend as great food and get your moneys worth here.”

“Stopped to buy some donuts for the staff working on the weekend. Store was empty at 5am on a Saturday but the service was quick and staff was personable and helpful. Enjoy the variety in breakfast sandwiches and the donut are soft and tasty. Cute that they make holiday ones. Commercial donuts will still never compete with the small business or mom and pop places I grew up with but it's a convenient alternative.”
