We have gone many times and always loved it. However this last time I ordered a bowl and they forgot ingredients and it didn't taste as good and flavorful as normal. Staff is always great and we love the atmosphere. But for $30 for a bowl, a burrito and a soda....it should be better.
Both of us got quesadillas. The taste was ok, would have it again. The prices was around $9 each. We also got a chips and salsa order. I wouldn't bother with that again.
This was my first visit to KB's to and I tried their Ketchum steak burrito. It was a solid 4 stars. Not the best burrito I've had in the valley, but with the help of some hot sauce, it was definitely good. I liked the fresh ingredients and the steak was nice and tender. It was only lacking a little in the flavor department - the spices could go up a notch or two in my opinion.
Pretty good if you're craving Mexican with California influence. I ordered a Ketchum burrito with steak and a Ketchum with chicken, chips and salsa bar, and queso. I thought the food had good flavor. The flour tortilla is not greasy or steamed so it has almost a dry crunchy texture. I liked the chips and salsa bar and being able to adjust the spice level of the salsa. I tried the mango, pico de gallo, and KB's salsa. Note that the mango salsa is spicy. Everything tasted fresh. The only thing I didn't like was the protein to rice ratio in the burrito. The burritos are big, but every bite felt like I was eating mostly rice.
My bill came out around $40 for 2 burritos, chips and salsa, queso, and a drink. Not terribly expensive but not cheap either.
