Please stop here if you're in Meridian!! Food was delicious, MASSIVE portions, great staff, and convenient location!
The kids meal pancake was SO huge and came with a side of egg and meat on a separate plate! Bacon burger with bacon jam was perfection, biscuit french toast was huge and perfectly cooked, sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious, and the happy hour wings had great flavor. 10/10 will come here again!!
Great food. Our server was so nice and attentive. The food did take a little while to come out, but with how busy it is, that is to be expected. The strawberry jam was the star of the show, and we may have asked for extra to take home. (Pictured is the Farmhouse w/ biscuit side, and Farmhouse with half waffle side.)
Our party of 4 had no waiting to be seated by the friendly server who answered all our questions & wasn't annoyed when we took extra long to order off the extensive menu. Jaws dropped when our 1 pancake came since it filled a giant platter. I loved the smoked brisket bene, another loved her club sandwich & salad & we all agreed the bacon was super tasty. Eggs, bacon & gravy smothered biscuit & brisket & eggs & home fries were all loved by all.
Clean bathrooms, happy workers, big menu, quality food & lg portions, what's not to love.
OVERVIEW: Given that the genre of breakfast food is worn out (without either killer execution on classics or new twists for new flavors), I'm happy to see this place has good offerings and a variety of departures from breakfast food. I personally feel that when a restaurant's selling point is large portions, they're replacing quality with quantity, but I'm glad to say that this is not the case here. I recommend it.
FOOD: The quality is good, and the flavors can be fun. Where the restaurant shines is beyond the normal breakfast fair. My personal favorite was the biscuit French toast. That with a Blue Moon on tap was a great stop before our movie showing. The potatoes were cooked well and seasoned with what tasted like a mix of Johnny's Seasoned and Creole, which turned in a solid flavor performance. The eggs were cooked correctly to the order, and were... eggs. All of it was enjoyable fair, though the biscuit French toast is still on my mind.
SERVICE: I personally like the style of service we received: very little interruption and very few words, but consistently there when a glass ran out or the eating was done. She was quite helpful in helping us understand the menu nuances, like what alternative options existed and whether they cost more or not. She was patient and knowledgeable.
ATMOSPHERE: I appreciated it wasn't too loud or too quiet. It was clean and comfortable.
