Pros
-Better than most pizza locations in the area like Pizza Hut, Domino's, little Caesars, smoky mountain or Idaho Pizza..... EXCEPT Flying Pie.
-when done right with plenty of meat it's delicious.
Cons
-its the most expensive pizza. The large pizza is over 28 dollars.
-Flying pie large pizza is two dollars less.
-my pizza today had less meat than other previous orders.
-flying pie consistently makes pizzas with plenty of ingredients.
-chicago connection is the only place I know it charges a service fee of 80 cents.
-there is no rewards program like flying pie or other restaurants.
In short, if you want the best pizza with more consistent service go to flying pie.

I ordered two large pizzas 4/27/24 @ about 7:00. My wife and I had been busy all day and were hungry. I ordered a large Garlic Chicken pizza, and large Combo pizza, $60+ 😳 Delivery was about 45mins. I didn't open the boxes at the door. When I did I had a Garlic Chicken pizza, and something else. Don't know what it was but just to hungry to care at that time. Be sure to check the pizzas at the door. Took a picture of mystery pizza.
I started to write a 4 star review, but as I read some of the rantings of others it made me change my opinion. Coming from a past background of food services I understand you can't please all the people all the time. Specifically when people call at your busiest times to complain. I have grown up in Meridian and have spent years ordering from Chicago Connect in Meridian and have had ok times and great times with my outcome. Just like any other place I am sure they have had workforce problems. A year ago I had a terrible experience at this store, to the point I did in fact call corporate and spoke to a very pleasant person that listened to my concerns and actually assured me things were being addressed. I was given a pizza voucher and was asked to not give up on them. I have ordered multiple times since and for the most part it went very well. Just this last week I ordered on a very busy Friday night and though it took a little longer to get it was the best experience I have had there in years. This tells me they really are trying their best to make it better. The growth in this area and the lack of quality people actually wanting to work and show up for work makes it challenging for these small businesses to be perfect every time. I commend this store on the changes they are making and Chicago Connection will always be my favorite pizza! For some of you that have a different opinion feel free to take your business to a place that will make you happier and honestly think about how hard it is to please everyone all the time.
Walking in.. it feels like pizza. If you could bottle what you think a Chicago pizzeria should smell like it’s this. Being from Wisconsin there’s a love for deep dish. Everyone at the counter from the gent that looked for my order to the pizza chef that offered to help me to my car was so friendly. The pizza was great! Crust to topping ratio on point. For sure will be back when that deep dish craving hits!
It occurred to me that I’ve driven by this place many times and have entirely ignored it. So I took the plunge and tried it for lunch. It was empty. The meatball sandwich was quite nice. I asked for the breading to be hollowed out to make it slightly less carb-heavy.
Perhaps like the legendary Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, a Chicago meatball sandwich is bound to have a cult following. I rarely order them. I found this quite enjoyable.
Before my first bite, just tasting the cheese alone reminded me how tasty and satisfying a robust mozzarella can be. Sliced meatballs made eating the sandwich manageable and not a jaw-breaking experience.
Chicago Connection was founded in Boise. It isn’t a large nationwide brand – so it’s good to know if you like supporting local Idahoan businesses.
