Mountain Mike's Pizza

We are fans of Mountain Mike's going years back living near one in the East Bay, CA. Because of dietary restrictions, it can be hard to find gluten free pizza. Mountain Mike's in Star, ID offers a small size gluten free crust pizza. We have re-ordered multiple times. Wish it came in a medium or large size option. Consistently good. I recommend.

Delivered a pepperoni and artichoke pizza that was good; love crispy pepp. Garlic knots and cheese sticks were good too, and they have good ranch. Also had good mozzarella sticks. Would definitely order again.

We ordered 3 take out pizzas and garlic knots on Saturday 3/2/24 online and picked it up. This was our first time buying from Mountain Mike's. Unfortunately we won't be buying a second time. Pizza was disappointing. The veggie pizza tasted burnt but it didn't look burnt. The other two pizzas just didn't have any flavor. The garlic knots needed to be cooked more-tasted doughy inside. These were expensive pizzas so I was expected a more for our money. I'll stick with Flying Pie Pizza or if I want cheaper pizza then Papa Murphys.

As someone who has had a lot of pizza and a lot of bad to mediocre pizza in Star. Mountain Mikes is by far the best pizza. We have had it 3 times this week!

Tonight was the first time we dined in. I will say be prepared to wait and It’s not a huge space (maybe 12 tables) but it was packed. The Staff was so polite and very hardworking and The Owner and/or manager was right in there getting to work with his staff.

The space also, has for TV’s for sports and 4 “games” in the back space for kids.

We will definitely be back.

Clean place, friendly faces, fun pizzaria atmosphere. The salad bar looked nice and fresh!

Pizza was quite expensive for what it was. Tasted bland and overcooked/burnt. Bread sticks were tough with little flavor and ranch prepackaged.

I'm sure after the opening hiccups, the pizzas will be cooked well.
