Loved the decor of the cafe, represents an bygone era in western and timber life very good. The waitress was VERY kind and likeable! I had a buffalo chicken sandwich which was pretty good. Spicy is the way to go! The fries were the bomb. My wife had the Liberty burger was VERY good. Fantastic bacon! If we ever get back that way it's a go too. Thank you!
A friend and I were in the St Marie’s, ID and we were dying for a burger and fries. We stumbled upon a billboard with “Timber Lodge Cafe” with pics of great looking burgers. We took the next turn and there it was, like a beacon of hope and an answer to our prayers! We walked in and loved the decor immediately. Plenty of “kitch” and country style with funny signage. We loved it. The food: we both ordered the Timber Lodge burger with fries and I had two pancakes along with it. We had just spent 6 days eating dehydrated meals and were famished. The server was attentive to our every need and she was as pleasant as could be. When the food arrived we were taken aback as to the quantity on our plates and at first bite we were satisfied beyond compare. The fries were the perfect level of crunchy and seasoned and the burger; Heaven at first bite! The pancakes were also amazing and hit the spot. If you’re in the area, you definitely owe it to yourself to try out the Timber Lodge Cafe.
Awesome food ... Did not disappoint..way above expected.. waitress was super attentive and kind... great at her job... locals are enjoyed and recognized by the place... amazing antiques real vintage... definitely will go back whenever we go fishing the river ...
The Dirty Tots, and the The Lodge burger (elk Patty substitute) were exceptionally tasty. The waitress hustled the whole time we were there and did a fantastic job! We never had an empty drink cup!!!! And if you've never had fried Oreos, you've definitely gotta try them!!!!
The breakfast was great. Hot bacon and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The waitress who is also the owner worked well with a group of elderly gentlemen and coffee. My coffee was never empty. The food was timely and hot. I was struck by a black and white painting for sale. The piece was stunning I had to have it. The use if color to bring the light into the painting. Beautiful.
The meal was good and sharing it with my daughter made it even better. I'm not a local I've never been to this cafe before but I will go back.
