I've been here before, 1st time was curious, food was good, staff was eccentric. Today was the most disorganized chaotic staff I've ever witnessed. Getting a seat was entertaining and frustrating. And didnt happen. No one knew what they were doing. It was hysterical. We waited around 30 minutes for a table...3 tables were empty the whole time, and there were several parties waiting. Weird, right? Yet nothing was really happening to move guests to tables. After realizing it was going to be much more than I could endure (even though I really wanted her veggie breakfast hash skillet), We decided to go to Heartbowls instead.
My other critique is the strange gift shop assortments all over the dining room. Mingling shoppers and diners is awkward and uncomfortable. The building is beautiful, but the use of the space is bizarre. It's worth enduring on occasion for the amazing bread and fresh food. But today was extra. I get why the aprons say DiLuna-tics. Wow!
I had a hard time finding a restaurant that was open for breakfast when I passed through town and I’m so thankful I was guided to Di Lunas. It was a delight to see 1/2 portions on the menu and they accommodated my wonky special requests without missing a beat. Atmosphere is pleasantly quirky and the vibe is authentically Sandpoint. I received attentive and charming service from the moment I walked in the door until I paid my check. Thankful I found this gem!
Food was amazing!! 10/10
Service was extremely friendly and somewhat prompt. Restaurant seemed understaffed for the amount of customers they had. 7/10
Atmosphere is pleasant enough. However, sitting at a table in the center of the room can be awkward. Other patrons waiting in line will wind up standing about a foot away from you while you're eating.. 5/10
I'm thankful they accept reservations. We will definitely be returning...but during a less crazy time than late Sunday morning 😅
Eclectic combination of a restaurant and gift shop. Eggs Benedict, sourdough toast, and egg scrambles were highlights. Potatoes and hash browns were middle of the road. Lattes and huckleberry mimosas were awesome. Servers were friendly and attentive
