Dos Caminos Mexican Restaurant

Easily, this is the best Mexican in the valley. The presentation is amazing, and the food is excellent. Hell, my Michelada showed up with a flaming jalapeño. So delicious.

This unassuming Mexican Restaurant is great. It is located in the front of a motel. They have a full bar and about a dozen beers to choose from. Very friendly staff and great food. My grandkids like it too.

Ate lunch here this past Friday. Nicely decorated and quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Seems like a family run business. The lunch menu has quite a few choices on it and most are $9.95.

I got the chicken enchilada and taco plate. The consistency of the beans was great, nice and creamy. The rice had great flavor and was cooked just right.

Unfortunately, I didn't think much of the chicken. It seemed like the breast meat was boiled then shredded in big pieces. It really had no flavor and was on the dry side. If you look at the pic, there is a piece on the right side of the taco. The toppings and sauce were good. They also have a red hot sauce that is quite tasty.

We will go back but I will pick a different protein.

This little restaurant is a hidden gem in Nampa. If you're a fan of Mexican food, you need to try this place out. Good quality dishes are served here. It is run by a family, and the service is fantastic. Good pricing and the portion size will leave you full and happy. The menudo is particularly good. I am from California, and this restaurant is California quality. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed
