Tacos El Rey

My family and I love this place. It’s probably my personal favorite place to eat in the entire treasure valley. I rave about this place to everyone I know. My brother and I make it a habit to eat here every time he visits. You cannot beat the value here. They have amazing food, even better than other Tacos El Ray locations. I haven’t had a single bad experience there and I’ve been going back there routinely for the past 5 years at least. I love getting the Tacos Al Pastor! Seriously my personal favorite. The chips and salsa are next level too. I don’t know anywhere that serves better salsa. If I could only go to one restaurant for the rest of my life it would be this one. The place always feels lively and the staff are always so genuinely kind. That’s all I can say for now because I’m making my stomach rumble and my mouth water.

I went with the chili relano, and the wife had chicken flauta. Both are meals where delicious . Highly recommended. If your craving authentic Mexican food. Will definitely be going back.

The food is so good!!! Prices are very reasonable. It is an older place but it is always clean. I usually pay lunch time and it is almost always full. One of my favorite hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants.

I have eaten here many many times, probably over 30 if I had to guess. We used to eat the taco truck back in the day and have always enjoyed this location because it served the same Adobada. I always get it with no onion, my wife enjoys the onions.

They do offer free chips and salsa when you sit down which I enjoy as well. Most times I get it to go and they always supply a few extra limes.
