Elk River Lodge & General Store

We didn't stay in the lodge, so I can't rate the rooms, but the service was excellent. They were closing up but agreed to sell us some excellent huckleberry ice cream. I highly recommend it.

The general store is amazing. I'm 30 now and myself as well as my immediate family and uncle Steve and aunt Nene have been coming down to Elk River for camping since I can first remember- and I always looked forward to coming over and having some huckleberry ice cream before going down to the swimming hole. I myself haven't been down here in awhile now so I can't speak too much about the hotel part, but my family still comes down every summer to stay here and they all tell me how amazing it is. I definitely recommend this place, you'll leave with some amazing memories. ♥️

My daughter and I stayed one night in August. The stay was very pleasant! The bathroom was very clean! The bedding and towel smelled so good! And the people are very friendly! The owner makes the best huckleberry pie I've ever had and the soft huckleberry ice cream is too die for. Thank you so much!

The general store is a sweet little place with yummy huckleberry soft serve ice cream! We go to the area every year with a group of friends to camp and we have a tradition of stopping in to get huckleberry ice cream before we leave.
They have some cute trinkets as well.

I'll tell ya this place is a spectacular experience. Folks that own and operate are beyond accommodating. They serve great food in the restaurant. Beer so cold you'd think you were in Colorado. Liquor store in in the general store. It's a one stop shop. They will have what you need.
