The Hangout

Food was delicious and service was fantastic! Prices were on par with any other restaurant type setting. They do offer take out and have a drive thru but they cook everything fresh on site so it's not instant like most "fast food". This is the best dine in restaurant on the prairie for sure!! Definitely will be going back any chance we get! 100% would recommend!! Burgers, fries, chicken, soup and more. That's the type of menu. Absolutely delicious!! Oh and they had a Gluten Free bun option!!

Very fresh food. Best burger I've had in a while and the salad was impressive with fresh veggies and greens. Definitely some of the best food around. imo

The best burgers I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I was going to take a photo, but it mysteriously disappeared. Garlic fries are best in class.

I would seriously travel for these things. If Im ever driving through, I would likely detour just to make an excuse to come back. Gold standard for what American food should be.

On our way driving north and stopped for lunch at the hangout. Great service and a good variety of options. We all found something we liked and enjoyed it! Seems like one of the main lunch places in the small town of cottonwood and there were quite a few patrons, especially for a weekday. I loved that they were advertising a fundraiser dinner for a community member struggling - they really seem to care about their community members. We would happily stop again in the future!
