Double Cheeseburger with onions and pickles 🤤. Don't forget to add the spicy sauce in-between bites. Adds a nice kick.
They are not fancy, but darned if they aren’t delicious. You will not find a fresher burger anywhere. The time it takes your burger to travel from the griddle to your plate is measured not in minutes, but in SECONDS. There are no fancy toppings, brioche buns, even french fries, but if you are looking for the best classic American cheeseburger this might be it. It has the friendly feel of a local small town diner. Anyway, our family loves it.
Can't say enough good things about this place! From the get-go the staff was very welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Our order was taken immediately upon entering and was ready soon after. I ordered a cheeseburger with pickles and onions and my husband had a hamburger with pickles and onions. There must be something special about the meat for their patties because they were juicy, tender, and overall INCREDIBLE. Afterward, we shared a slice of DELICIOUS chocolate pie.
The cost of eating here is incredibly low compared to most eateries nowadays. Our total was just over $10 for the two burgers and pie. Also, they only accept cash but have an ATM in the back if needed.
We've walked by this place countless times and I'm glad we finally got to try it. We can't wait to go back!
Iconic burger one must try. Very meaty, combined with acidity of the onions/pickles gives a savory flavor only few can replicate. Cash only at the time of arrival, enjoyed thoroughly.
Quite simply one of the best burgers I've ever had. The key word is simply. In fact, I'm not quite sure how they do it. If you like burgers and you're in Coeur d'Alene please please try this place. It is a piece of burger history.
