Lodgepole

We enjoyed everything we ordered here! The service was great, and there was a wide variety of options for entrees and appetizers! I would love to come back here when I’m in Moscow again.

When we planned our trip to the USA months ago and it was clear that we would visit Moscow, ID, all we needed was the best restaurant in town. The winner was the Lodgepole. And: We were not disappointed. Good food off a pleasing small menu, a bit off the mainstream. Professional and attentive service. If we ever find ourselves in Moscow again, we will definitely come back.

Went to Lodgepole for anniversary and they were super kind and professional servers, AMAZING food. I got the pan roasted chicken with mash potatoes and it was so delicious. Well cooked, perfect portions. Service was timely (in and out in 45 minutes), and very nice restaurant to the eye. Highly recommend for a nice dinner. Not too casual, not too fancy, just perfect for a special dinner. 5/5 for me.

A must-visit in the Moscow-Pullman area. The place is cozy with wonderfully helpful staff. They also distribute revenue to staff thus do not need tip, which I can't wait to see becoming a standard practice countrywide. Food quality is excellent. Ingredients are fresh and properly cooked. We ordered a Wagyu Carne Asada, Idaho Trout Pasta, a salad, a duck entree, and a signature dish with trout on rice. I can't say they give big portions, but their dishes made me happy.

Lovely atmosphere, exceptional service, and phenomenal food! I was stunned at the level of excellence that came out of their kitchen, especially considering it's located in such a small city.

For Snacks we ordered the Bread & Butter, Deviled Pickled Eggs, and the Chicken Wings. For Starters we got the Mushroom Toast. For Entrees we had the Braised Beef Rigatoni and the House Gnocchi. Everything was truly fantastic.

The Desserts kind of blew me away! I'm a French trained Pastry Chef and rarely even order desserts anymore, because I'm never pleased. But after the fantastic meal, we just HAD to try them. They did not disappoint! Harmonious flavours, complimentary textures, creative plating, and while the serving size is certainly enough to share one dessert per couple, we each ate a whole one. ;-)

My only slight disappointment, and this isn't even a complaint at all, more like wanderlust... is that they don't serve Cocktails. Because I would LOVE to taste all the concoctions I know they'd be capable of creating!
