Palooza Basecamp & Eatery

This place was a pleasant surprise. Drinks were great and cheap. Food menu was awesome. Not usual pub food. Original and very high quality. Owner and chef came out to chat. Nice people. Definitely stop by if traveling to McCall Idaho area. I give them 5 stars!!! Very affordable too!

We feel at home here woth the personal attention and caring from the goes into your food and drink. Stop here if you’re in cascade, or on your way to or from McCall.
You will not be disappointed!

My family of 5 and I had a great experience. The food was great and the server (Marsha) was stellar. Very helpful, gracious and appreciative for us to be there. It has an nice setting but holds the mountain feel. The only small issue we had with the place was it seemed their exhaust fan for the kitchen wasn't working as it smelled like a lot of cooking going on. Wasn't a big deal since it smelled delicious. I guess the good thing is the smell stuck to us the next day so we wanted to go back and eat again. Unfortunately we had to leave town but will back. Do yourself a favor and stop in passing through or on your stay.

Food, service, staff, and atmosphere are all wonderful!! Our family of four couldn’t get enough of the truffle fries! We also had the pear and gorgonzola salad, the chicken sandwich, and the bread pudding for dessert. Will definitely be back!

This is easily the best place to stay in the valley. The rooms are updated and nice, and check-in is super easy with the codes. The restaurant has an incredible menu as well. So nice to have something a little more upscale compared to most restaurants in the area that build a menu around a deep fryer. 5 stars, will be back.
