Lu-Bob's Restaurant

Loved the service and the food. Four of us had 3 different meals and they were all delicious. Pie to-go the same-delicious.

Cozy diner atmosphere. Great variety. Dinners come with 2 sides, which may sound typical, but at Lu-Bob's the are 22 sides to choose from! If you can't find something you like here, you're just too picky. Reasonably priced.

Had a great time. Met my cousin for lunch. Service slow, but we weren’t in a hurry. Had a good taco salad and took peach pie to go. Tried gooseberry pie for first time. They had a large party or two so we waited. No problem though. It was a quaint place with locals all around. Nice waitress though. Good experience.

Good bacon cheeseburger and fries that are dipped in a coating, albeit the single tomato on the burger was sliced too thick. Fast service at lunchtime too.
I’m in business for myself and absorb any credit card fees as a cost of doing business. But Lu-Bobs’ posts and charges every credit card customer an additional 69¢ after your total. (I’ve never seen that done at a restaurant before, only at gas stations for cash/credit fuel prices.) So with a soft drink and a decent $2 tip the total was $13.63. About $5 more than a fast food place.
