Mixed feelings. It's a nice place to work, especially since the drink menu is solid. The staff are generally very friendly. However, WiFi is spotty, and their gluten- and vegan-friendly marketing is misleading. They have one, maybe two options for each, but no overlap. Sidewinder fries are dicey for GF folks, and the Kind bars they stock are not dairy-free. If you don't have dietary issues, it's great, but if you have allergies/autoimmune issues, don't go for the food.
Excellent food. Priced for quality which they excel at. The crepes are delicious and they have excellent baked goods and desserts.
I wish the new location had a restroom inside the building, you have to leave the main floor to go. The bathroom also doesn't have a baby changing station. The bakery itself has delicious food but I wish the actual bistro was more customer friendly.
Ordered two sandwiches and a salad. One sandwich had very little meat or other toppings. The other sandwich had plenty of toppings and meat. Salad was a very generous portion. Bread on both sandwiches was very good. Overall the experience was pretty good, but not great. I always give every place two tries before I form my final decision. I will report back after I try Pekara again.
The bread they have is wonderful and fresh. Great place and great location. Friendly staff. Brioche rolls are great for burgers or sandwiches. Croinuts are a must try. The only gripe I have is they don’t stock enough bread. They always run out, often times early in the day.
