Portillo's Hot Dogs

Great hot dogs. Awesome fries, so long as they are served hot. Over the past 6 months, they have been taking longer and longer to prepare our meal and call our number. This location is just not up to the standards that I expect when I visit the Chicago area Portillo's Restaurants.

cheap food, mmm, super yummy. This place will surprise you. The service was very friendly and attentive. It has a great atmosphere. My apartment is far from here, so I can't visit often.

My wife had BBQ Chipotle chicken salad and commented about how good the dressing was. I dipped some french fries in the dressing in it was really good. I got a chili cheese dog and it was good. Also got an order of onion rings and wished there was more in the portion but they were good.

My mom and I went to the Champaign location and she had gotten her food pretty quickly. I had to wait for mine for a while, but I thought it was because they were so busy and had a lot going on.. which I don't mind waiting for a little bit. I had only waited for 5 minutes and the girl behind the counter asked what my number was and I told her, she immediately let her manager know I had been waiting for the time I had, they both immediately apologized, stopped what they were doing, got my food together and even gave me a piece of chocolate cake. I was in shock, since I thought I was waiting for a reasonable amount of time. So I was pleased with the EXCELLENT customer service they had provided.. food was amazing as well. I will definitely be back!

Great place to stop by for some of its classic Italian beef. There is other things like hot dogs and burgers, they are good as well. Milkshakes are practically a must as well. Strawberry is the best flavor. The staff there is very efficient and friendly. The time from my order to when I get my food is 5-10 mins. Expect to pay around 10-13 dollars for an Italian beef and milkshake. Also don't forget to ask to get it dipped in that sweet sweet gravy.
