Shawarma Joint

Worth the wait! Owner definitely cares about their business & customer's experience, saw him checking the trash cans & ensuring they were clean during a busy lunch hour. And the food is amazing & a great deal for the amount you get, usually I get 2 meals out of a bowl. Will definitely be coming back to try everything on the menu!

The food is ok considering it's a fast food place. The portions are quite large, but I wasn't thrilled with the quality. The pickled turnips tasted like they had been sitting in a bowl of salt water and had no flavor other than extreme saltiness, not pickled flavor. I ordered a bowl with the gyro meat. I ended up giving my leftovers to my husband because I didn't like it enough to finish it. He ordered a bowl with spicy chicken and the grapes leaves and really liked both. The baklava was wonderful. The service was great.

I only wish we'd tried this place sooner. The food is fresh and it smells and tastes amazing. And there is a LOT of it, so their prices are more than fair. The staff was friendly and helpful and the employees who put the food together clearly take great pride in the presentation of the dishes, carefully arranging and seasoning the elements of the dishes. We are absolutely thrilled with Shawarma Joint and we will be returning regularly.

Went here for the first time just a couple weeks ago. This is a must try place.

I got a the spicy chicken wrap with hummus, spicy Turkish, purple cabbage, and Jerusalem salad. Took one bite and immediately recommended it to all of my friends. Great food, friendly staff, and a new member of the "Best food on Green Street" club.

Much needed halal spot on campus. Got a spicy chicken bowl over spicy rice and it was delicious. Portion was great for a comparable price to other places on green. Definitely recommend!
