The Black Bull

Old school Mexican-like carnitas tacos with all the fat and grizzle on the meat (which is a compliment…apparently the owner didn’t like that comment). They are not for everyone, though. Salsa is too sweet and runny for our tastes. Most other Mexican restaurants in town are better, except Taco Bell.

We hope they get better because we like the location and staff.

Had a veggie omelet, breakfast potatoes, and biscuit and gravy! It was awesome!! So much food that I got two meals out of it! They are so friendly!

We had breakfast there, on Easter Sunday, and it was FABULOUS. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was incredible!! They're my go-to spot for food now.

Went here for breakfast. Staff was friendly and served the food quickly. All the food is homemade here even the pies. Food was hot and good. Had meat lovers skillet. Ordered Rye toast (my favorite) and came out perfect. It was dark rye which is hard to get in town. We will be back and will try their dinner menu also.

I dropped by a few days after The Black Bull opened. The staff were friendly, and the food very tasty. I had the fish taco dinner, and was pleased that it came with chips and salsa. I also got an extra dish of cilantro. The menu has no vegan or vegetarian options after 11am, and only one on the breakfast menu. I will probably go elsewhere for more seafood options in the future.
