The Literary

I went to the Literary to hear a poet give a reading from their new collection. The seating is plentiful and varied and the space is divided nicely into cozy areas, reminiscent of living rooms, with book shelves lining most walls. Although I didn't order anything to drink, I read on their website that they sell wine, coffee, other beverages, and food earlier in the day. It's very inviting and I'll be returning with my wife and family.

Amazing place, with a great vibe. Everyone in here is super nice, and even more helpful. Great addition to our downtown options!

This place is a wonderful addition to downtown Champaign. Good coffee and great baked goods from Hop Scotch. Decent beer selection.

Seems like a great selection of books, but I haven't shopped for them yet.

Incredible food and great selection of books. I would highly recommend visiting. I have not yet had lunch or dinner here, but the plates look very tasty.

Love the atmosphere. It's fun and classy. I love being able to have a conversation with someone over tea and not have to scream to be heard over the music like at a bar.
