Donny really does a great job. He even comes out from behind the kitchen to ensure you are being taken care of and whether you're enjoying your food or not.
For starters, we had the onion rings. Made fresh and done to perfection! Even my 4 & 6 year old loved them. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger. The thing is huge! And the best bacon you have ever had!! My boys had a cheeseburger and chicken strips. They liked those. I had shrimp kabobs. They were out of this world! First time ever to have been there and will be back for sure!
If you want a place to eat at that serves awesome, delicious food, go to Longbranch Steakhouse! You'll be glad you did!
Food was fresh. They use good cuts of meat. Plenty of food to fill you up. Place is kept clean. Friendly staff.
My wife and I stumbled across this restaurant while on a recent visit to the area. It was wonderful! While I wonder if the prices may be a bit high for small town America, the food was superb. I had a 12 ounce pork chop that was grilled to perfection...seared perfectly and flowing with juices. The green beans and brussel sprouts, done in bacon, were delicious. The macaroni and cheese was swimming in cheese. The salads were a good portion with delicious homemade salad dressing. The surroundings, casual, reminded us of some older steak houses that we have visited over the years with the tongue and groove pine paneling. We live in Champaign but plan to make the drive again...well worth it!
Awesome food at a great price. I live over an hour away and I will be going back. Recommend this place to anyone.
My food was excellent! I had a 10 oz Ribeye medium rare, and 2 sides= baked potato with sour cream, shredded cheese & bacon on it, cottage cheese and a side salad. My drink was ice tea. All was very fresh, flavor was great! Everything that is supposed to be hot was piping hot! Cold things very cold. The only thing I had wished was different was they laid a whole strip of bacon on top of my baked potato. I would have preferred it to be chopped up. Our waitress was very nice but hard to hear at times because she spoke very soft. The owner who also cooks everything- always comes out to see if you are satisfied. I sure was! My Husband loved his food as well! It was busy when we got there and yet we were seated right away. The bathrooms are small yet clean & smell nice. That's not why we go there any way. The place is rustic and I recommend it highly!! It's a gem!! Go check it out!
