    The eggs and bacon were perfect. However my English muffin was burnt and my potato cakes weren't cooked long enough. Staff was friendly.

    South Side Cafe is a great example of what a small town cafe should be. Friendly, welcoming, great short order food with that old school style. South Side Cafe is one of Charleston's oldest restaurants. One of those hidden jewels that should be enjoyed by all. Don't miss out on this iconic jem in Charleston's historic downtown Square.

    A great little town square diner. Nothing more, nothing less. Prices were great, portions were average, employees were awesome. Simple, hometown feel.

    Absolutely amazing food, some of the best I've ever had, especially breakfast foods. Has a cozy and traditional diner feel. Staff are friendly and check on you frequently.
