    We were taking a family member home after a medical procedure. I remembered the ad about the fried chicken picnic basket and thought that would be an easy meal to pick up for dinner. OMG! It was awesome and the people super friendly.

    Great service and food!! Today I brought a first time customer in to eat she loved it!! Do you think you could make a breakfast gravy with pork meat if any kind? Like a pepper gravy that would be awesome!!

    The burger was great, but there really wasn't much to order because most of the stuff was unappetizing, unappealing, and simply too full. I wanted a light snack. On the contrary, the waiter was absolutely AMAZING. He was on top of his game.

    Had Rainbow Trout that was good, steamed broccoli that was over cooked, a biscuit that was small & burned on the bottom - looked like it was made from scraps of dough left over from making the batch that they stuck together to make one last piece - salad that was nothing but lettuce & 2 cherry tomatoes & a diet Coke that was not a full glass - never was offered a refill. Waitress was a bit chatty giving me a run-down of what she was going to go do before checking on.me again. I've eaten in several Cracker Barrels between northern Illinois & St Louis, MO, & this one is far below the food & service of all the others in my route.
