    Hometown burger and ice cream place. It's more about the nostalgia than anything else the burgers are the thin kind with crispy edges. If you like steak n shake, then you will like this, but these fries are better.

    I love this place! Especially since Ernie took over. It's delicious and not over priced like some places here in mattoon.

    NOT the fast food chain, and that's fine by me. I would much prefer this local joint over the Whopper house. The fries are fantastic, and the burgers are quite good. Would recommend!

    This isn't just any Burger King...it is THE Burger King. This isn't part of the international, over-rated fast food chain. No...this is a legitimate Mom & Pop restaurant that serves the standard fare you'd expect from a burger joint. And while I never tried the ice cream I hear it's also pretty good. If you ever want to try something different than typical, over-rated fast food then you have to come to Burger King in Mattoon.

    I love good, old fashioned made cheeseburgers and fried mushrooms. Very good food prepared like I'm back in the 50s, well ok, maybe the 60s. They also have a great selection of ice cream desserts.
