Gigi Wine Bar and Bistro

The absolute tops for upscale dining in the north/northwest burbs. Plan ahead and grab a table for a romantic dinner or pop in and grab a seat at the bar for snacks, dessert or cocktails. Chef has put together a fantastic menu of midwest American fair with French influence. Bar menu is solid but the wine list is choice.

This place is definitely worth a visit! The atmosphere is Paris, the food is excellent! Service was spot on and the wine list is well rounded. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We had a number of the specials and everything was amazing! Just what Barrington needed, a classic French bistro! Highly recommend!

This place was so great! A friend took me here and we ordered a bottle of wine and some small plates. 10/10 highly recommend the tarte flambee, the artichoke, and the oysters. Get a dozen. Make sure they’re east coast. Mmmmmm. Service at the bar was phenomenal. Really impressed w this place.

Second time in a row coming to Gigi’s. It is a smaller spot but the perfect atmosphere for a group of friends/family and a couple bottles of amazing wine. Food is spectacular, service even better! Attention to detail is strong in this place. Can’t wait to have many more memories made with family and friends ! Great job, Gigi’s!

My friend found this spot and I have to compliment her on her find. GiGi wine bar and bistro is a hidden gem in Barrington. The exterior of the building was very standard. Once we walked in I have to say that it was like walking into a different world. The service was amazing. The waitress we had walked us through the entire menu and recommend dishes which we highly liked. The ambiance was great the Decor really matched every bit of the store and food. The food oh the food, amazing. I could taste the freshness and the care the chef put into it. I would recommend Gigi’s to anyone who wants to try amazing food and high quality service!
