This is my favorite Deep-Dish pizza place that I've been to, including standard fair like Lou's and Gio's, but also places like Piquod's. I've never been upset with anything on their menu, although it's fair to say I've never had an entree here besides the Deep Dish pizzas.
Gabe was our server tonight. (Crystal Lake location) He was phenomenal! We ordered the mama primavera pizza and it was very delicious! Wonderful atmosphere, timely manner, friendly staff and delicious food. ????
Good service. Meatball sub has a great meatball, sauce is okay. Cheesecake is made in house and fantastic.
Excellent pizza weather deep dish or thin crust as I prefer... Great staff & service, especially when Vanessa is at the bar. She's 1of the best.
Just let me start by saying the service provided to us by the waitress and the way the manager handled everything was as good as you could have expected, but please train your hostesses. We had called the day prior to ask about reservations for larger parties. They recommended to call before arriving so we could be out on a list. We called as we were on our way, and once we arrived we were told it would approximately be a 20-30 minute wait. 45 minutes later with our party waiting, asked how much longer it would be, was told 15 minutes more. 15 came and went, asked again, “another 15 minutes”. At this point we had been waiting nearly an hour and a half. At which point, we asked again and were told “we had a table for you but we gave it to someone else because we didn’t think it would fit everyone”. I’m sorry, but who says that?
Like I said, manager, waitress and food were all great but when the people who are the first to interact with your customers, treat your customers like that, it completely ruins the experience. We’ll be sticking to carry out from now on to avoid a similar experience dining in.
