Delicious tacos and enchiladas. We tried the cactus and pepper/ cheese tacos along with chicken mole. Both dinners came with refried beans and rice. The rice recipe is authentic, and has a memorable brightness. The mole has a cumulative spice that is you aren't sweating yet, you will be by the time you're finished savoring all the spices. The ambience is a bit lacking and there is no liqour licence that we could tell. We'll be back especially for the cactus tacos. Our friends recommended for great tacos and the city of Berwyn recently awarded Tacos y Salsa with a neighborhood business award.
I've been going there for 10yrs and I always had a great experience with Jenny and the rest of the crew except two new faces that gave me a hard time on a random day tried to cheat me out my money but once I talked to the owner she got it under control. I recommend the food because the flavors are wonderful, seasoned well but the flank is tough.
Best tacos I've ever had in a no frills homey locale with friendly staff. Plenty of authentic dishes. Al pastor tacos are a must have
It's like visiting your abuela. Feels like home cooking. Excellent food and service always.
The fish soup is $12 after tax and it is enough for two delicious meals!
HOLY SALSA BATMAN! We've committed to stopping in here on a weekly basis just to buy a 12 oz cup of salsa. Of course they wont give up the recipe (had to try), but it's just delicious. The tacos are great too, but it's the salsa that keeps us coming back!
