I like Genos I use to frequent this place a lot. The staff is friendly they take good care of you. Geno is more for an older crowd not that they discriminate against young adults. The atmosphere is laid back the music is great. The dance floor is very small if you are a stepper. I use to see a few politicians hanging in there won't mention names. I met Carl Wright there and had a nice conversation with him. Genos is the perfect little spot to just hang without a massive crowd of people being about. Please go check Geno's out you won't regret that you did in fact you'll have a great time and connect with some nice people.

Spend - It's a HOLE in the WALL with the best #$%#$! Soul Food I've eaten on the South Side of Chicago. It's a bar with the restaurant hidden in plain sight. It looks like a store front, slash liquor store, and down home goodness lost in the mix of chaos. "I think I just described a birds eye view of my experience of Black Life." It may look a little different to the world outside but it's home and filled with love and other good stuff no matter what! This is a "Black Experience." Made me miss my Grandma Lucille, Auntie Thee, and Grand Daddy R. Smith.

If you want a story to tell take friends, take family, and take strangers. Ask about the Geno's History and find out the second name of the same location. Tell them Shani sent you. Most certainly an experience to remember.

Just started doing business with this company. Great customer service so far. I've only had their hot wings at the bar which were great. Can't wait to taste the soul food!
