Clever Rabbit

Delicious burger! We went in for brunch because it had a good combo of meat and vegan options for our fried group. The potatoes were to die for, perfectly crispy! We plan on going back!

I’m not sure why I have not gone to this place earlier. The people, food, and atmosphere were all on point!! Our waiter Hector knew exactly to get off the menu for brunch! I would go back to Clever Rabbit all day!! They are also super kid friendly and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our kids were enjoying their time.

The food was fantastic although vegan options are quite limited. Alterations are limited to not sprinkling cheese on a salad.

I was very impressed with the baked potato - it was the only true surprise on the menu.

Really interesting menu, limited options, small and large plates, but only a handful of each. Same ingredients used across multiple dishes, mainly because everything is fresh and local. We had the bao, oysters, mushrooms small plates, and the curry, chicken, and bronzino large plates. Curry was really good, and we really liked the chicken. Mushrooms are really great. Nothing super impressive about the decor, but I'm guessing in the summer it's going to be amazing with the open air front.

Great venue in the Wicker Park area. The upstairs is worth checking out and is super cool, retro. Great for rental. The food is pretty good also, its consistent and a good neighborhood restaurant.
