Turkish Cuisine

Very nice, clean place, serves delicious and tasty kebab, lamb chops, tilapia dish, variety of appetizers.

The place was almost empty when we arrived, only a mother and child there, no wait staff. My sister and I took a seat and waited.

Eventually someone came out to give us menus. She brought out pieces of bread which had a hard crust and fluffy tender insides that went well with the olive oil.

Asked about the Turkish pizza and was told they were out. Ood add the other table had it but we ordered falafel on a bed of hummus. It went quickly, both humus and falafel being top notch.

My sister ordered a tilapia dish and I a ground lamb one. Entrees came with a generous portion of rice and salad. I quickly made short work of mine and my sister saved enough of hers to have lunch the next day.

We ordered dessert. It was a tasty treat but it was missing the berries.

Total bill was under 60 for 2 dinners, an appetizer, 2 desserts and a Turkish tea.

As we left. More customers were in and what did they have as one of their appetizers? Yeah, the Turkish pizza they were out of.

Food was good, service was okay and the fact they lied about the Turkish pizza and no berries on the desert was just ood. I'd go back again as they have a lot of dishes that look great.

We used to live a block away from their previous location and became friends with the owner. It's been some years but the food is just as good and so was seeing our friend. Everything was delicious!

This is the best place to eat in Chicago. The food is so delicious that you want to order more. Hospitality and the service make you want to return here again and again. Definitely one of my favorite places. Highly recommend to visit this place for everyone.
