Friendly staff, quick service, good prices. Big, varied menu and a good drink selection. We liked the half pitcher of margaritas for $17.

Fabuloso Fiesta Mexicana! I usually eat here once
a month and have for a while. It’s in Uptown right down from the Green Mill. I have had most items on the menu and the food is always the same, good, but when it’s cold out and the temperature drops its my go too for the large bowl of chicken soup which is Awesome with whole potatoes, carrots and large pieces of chicken. Served with corn or flour tortillas and rice. Margaritas are excellent. Low key and quite place to talk.
When you finish head south half a block and stop in the Green Mills for a Old Style beer and a history lesson., The place hasn’t changed in 70 years. If you stick around and listen to one of the best B3 organist on the planet who plays 3 days a week. Can’t find anyone better anywhere.
    Chris Foreman can really play.
Studs Turkel had lunch quite often at the Green Mill although they don’t serve food. What!
There is a basement tunnel which runs the length of the half block building. This was Al Capone’s hangout and the tunnel was his vanishing trick from the Chicago Cops. You can still see blood stains in the tunnel. It’s absolutely true.
Check both out and you will be full from excellent food and if your lucky you caught a mid day buzz.

Amazing food. Cozy spot with the kind of Mexican comfort food you are totally looking for. We sat at the back bar and chatted with the owner while we ate. The restaurant was passed down to her from her Momma, and they have been there for 40 years! Oh, and the deep-fried ice cream was to die for.

The food is very good and cheap.
The place has very low key vibe. Bring some friends and order a pitcher of house margaritas. You will have a great time.

I come here about once or twice a week & never leave disappointed... The food is great as well as the staff. It's nice to be greeted & recognized as a regular... Especially when they remember how you & your companion like your drinks made... Lunch specials are well priced as well as drink specials that they have daily... They have an outside patio for those who like to eat outside on nice days. They are open late which is perfect for going after concerts at The Riviera & The Aragon...
