This has a Michelin rating?? Asked that to my date as we sat down after reading the menu. We had recently cancel our reservation at another restaurant and decided to come here on a whim.
Long story short, come here and eat. But at the same time don't cause it's my best kept secret.
Also there is like only one guy that works here. He does everything.
So legit try it, but with only one guy working you can overload him and get slower service. The quality is always top notch.
Very tasty food with good prices. Downside is that it is a very small place with slow service if there are more than maybe 2 parties. But the upside is that if you live nearby you don’t have to venture far for a good Indian fix. First time was much better than the second time where we had issues with bill not matching the menu pricing and a very dirty glass that was brought out, but the owner is endearing if not perfect. It’s good for what it is and I really want to like this place, would almost give it 4 stars. BYOB for what that’s worth. It’s a hole in the wall, so if you’re not in the mood for that kind of experience try at a different time.
Great little dive-like restaurant in Lincoln Square, tasty food and nice service — been meaning to try it for years, and finally got around to it. Nice to know I don’t need to go all the way out to Devon or Wicker Park for good Indian food.
I’m not an Indian food lover. But the food here was amazing. And they have BYOB. Great service too!
Not sure why the ratings are so low here. The food was excellent, and the service was just fine. The owner/chef/waiter/busboy was very accommodating and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. He (that's right, just one guy!) did a lovely job making our experience a good one, and cooking us a delicious meal
